What's in this season?

Cowboy boots!!!
Who would have thought these would have made an return to our shop floors this summer?!

The history of the boot is quite clear as the name suggest they were for cowboys. These boots have changes and evolved a lot since first seen in the USA Texas in 1800′s. The original boots had a heel about the height of an inch, were rounded to a pointed toe, came up to just below the knee and were traditionally made out of cow leather or other animal skins.
There are two different styles of cowboy boots to chose from, the western (classic) cowboy boots are a tall boot to just below the knee and inch high heel with a range of toe shapes whereas the other style known as the 'roper' is an ankle boot but other than that the same. The cowboy boots became a fashion item for men and women in the 1930s and 40s when movies and radio played stories of the genre wild west and have been coming in and out of fashion ever since!
